How do I bind a key?

After installing the extension and logging in, open the extension popup. Go to the "Keybinds" tab. Click on any action (e.g., "Move Knight") and press the desired key on your keyboard to set the bind.

Does this violate fair play rules?

No. kbChess simulates normal mouse clicks that correspond to your keyboard inputs. It does not play the moves for you and is not an engine. However, always review the terms of service for the specific platform you play on.

My keybinds aren't working on Lichess.

Please ensure you have Lichess focus mode disabled or that the extension has permission to run on `*.lichess.org`. Additionally, verify you are subscribed to the Grandmaster plan if you are trying to use advanced Lichess features.
